Whether you're a coffee-lover or tea enthusiast, there's ample reason why you should continue downing your favourite drink. Here’s a closer look at the benefits of consuming coffee and tea.
NEUTRALISE FREE RADICALS
Certain conditions such as pollution, herbicides in the environment or even exposure to cigarette smoke prompt the release of free radicals in the body. These chemicals are damaging to cells, and cause illness. The remedy: antioxidants, which neutralise free radicals. Coffee and tea are rich in antioxidants that help the body fight these destructive chemicals.
